It seems like May was a long time ago. We have been going non-stop since then with visitors, traveling, and some other fun stuff. In May Grace had her very first ballet recital. See earlier post for video footage. We were so glad to have Mimi, Grandaddy, MeMa & PopPop all come to watch her debut performance.

Life got CRAZY after the ballet weekend. My dad left with Chris early on Sunday morning to drive up to CT. Chris rode up with him because we needed to get our Subaru. It had been in their driveway since January due to a lot of car switching and then we got our van. Anyway, it was time to get it back because my mom was going to stay with us for the week and I was heading off to a US Sailing Training class to renew my instructor certification for my summer job.
So Chris headed out with my dad in the morning and arrived back home late that night. But wait there is MORE driving to report...
On Tuesday morning (early, early) Chris headed up to Long Island (9 hours) to deliver Spot to Capt. Tommmy. I headed out Tuesday evening to Washington, NC (3 hours) for a 4 day Instructor Certification class. Chris arrived home late Wednesday night. Then he left at 4:30 AM on Saturday morning to drive to Wilmington (6 hours) with Grace. They arrived home late Sunday night. I arrived home Saturday night and then headed out Sunday morning with my mom and SE to meet my dad in New Castle, Deleware (3hours) for a half-way meeting point to get my mom home. Then SE and I headed back home. WHEW!!!
Chris went to Wilmington to try to load up the remainder of our stuff from the attic and shed at the Bryan Ave house. A special bonus was that Grace got to go to Sami's Strawberry Pickin' 5th B-day party.

No sooner had we gotten settled back in than we were off again. This time it was a weekend in Front Royal to celebrate Gigi's 90th bday. We had a lot of fun with cousins, aunts, uncles and extened family. The girls had been practicing "You Are My Sunshine" (Gigi's favorite song) to perform for her at the dinner. Below is the video link- you can't really hear them, but they sure look cute :) Everyone clapped after the 1st verse and Sarah Elizabeth was quite distraught because she wanted to sing the whole song, so everyone joined in for the rest of the song. I didn't add that video because all you can hear is my voice....

That brings us to the end of May.....I wish I had more pics of Gigi's bday weekend. Hopefully I'll get some to add later.
Here are some random shots of Sarah Elizabeth...
