Grace's birthday celebration began on Friday (the day before her actual birthday). Chris and I got to go to her class and show pictures and talk about Grace. And then Grace walked around the "sun" (the candle) 5 times.
"The Earth goes round the sun, the Earth goes round the sun.
It takes 12 months to go around and then Grace turns 1...."
On Saturday we had a Pizza and Play-Dough party with some kids from her class. They made cookies to take home with them and then had a Play-Dough session. There were about 15 kids and they all really got into the cookies and the play dough.

After the party the girls cuddled up with MeMa on the couch for some much needed rest before Grace's special birthday dinner of clams and Hummel hot dogs.

It was a great 5th birthday. I can't believe my 1st baby is FIVE!
